Dobbö -Lovely Day for It (Mysterybox Records) 7″ PRE-ORDER

PRE-ORDER FOR 4TH NOV

UK-based multi-instrumentalist Dobbö is an emerging artist working across jazz-funk, fusion and instrumental groove, drawing influence from artists including Weather Report, Herbie Hancock and Allan Holdsworth. His debut EP on Real Kind Records has surpassed 20k Spotify streams, with his debut single reaching 14k, while ongoing support from BBC Introducing and Jazz Re:freshed has helped establish his growing profile. Dobbö has performed headline and support dates across the UK at venues including Band on the Wall, Matt & Phreds, Brewery Arts Centre, The Ferret and Sela Bar, alongside appearances on the Kendal Calling Roots Stage for two consecutive years. A further three-date UK headline tour is planned.

Lovely Day For It is a six-track EP showcasing Dobbö’s organic approach to jazz-funk and fusion, with the limited 7″ selecting two of its key tracks. “Hidden Village” is a mellow, breezy instrumental built around funky drums and electric guitar, complemented by flute, bells and wordless vocals, while “Eye Spy” takes a more uptempo, dancefloor-focused approach with a slinky bassline and fluid fusion guitar. Together, the tracks highlight Dobbö’s abilities across drums, guitar and bass while offering two distinct sides of his groove-driven sound.
