If I can see the record on the website, is it in stock?
If the title is showing on the website, it’s in stock, and the amount of stock is listed next to the price. The exception to this is the pre-order titles which will clearly state it’s a pre-order title with an expected date.
Are records despatched the same day?
If ordered before 4pm GMT, yes.
Are the orders packaged safely?
We use the best record mailers with stiffeners. In the unlikely event your record arrives damaged, please let us know straight away.
Can I hold records until I have the money?
Unfortunately, we cannot hold records. We do offer our customers various forms of payment, which we hope is helpful.
Can I pick up an order in person?
If you’re local to Hampshire and would like to collect in person, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange the best way forward for a smooth click and collect process.
How do I know you have received my order?
Once your order has been paid for and processed, you will receive an email confirmation. If you don’t receive a confirmation, please contact email@example.com and we will be able to confirm the order.
How long do you take to despatch an order?
We aim to despatch each order on the same day that an order is placed.
Is ordering from 45rpm’s website secure?
Yes – the shopping cart area of our site is encrypted to ensure the security of all orders placed through 45rpm.
Do you give discounts for large orders?
We don’t currently offer discounts on large orders.
What if my order is damaged or lost in transit?
Whilst our records always leave us well packaged and in perfect condition, accidents can happen in transit. If your record arrives damaged, please send photos of the damaged packaging and record to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss your preferred resolution method. If you believe your order is lost in transit, please email us and we will investigate.
What happens if I receive the wrong record?
Whilst we take every care to ensure all our orders are correct, if you find you have received the wrong record, please email email@example.com before opening the record’s packaging and we can arrange a return.
Can I hold and merge my preorders until all the items are in stock?
If you find there are multiple pre-orders over a period of time you would like to buy in one transaction, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss the details of your order.
How do I track my order?
If you have chosen a tracked service at checkout, you will receive a tracking reference at the end of the despatch day.
Can I reserve a record that’s in stock?
Unfortunately we can’t reserve records, however if you find the one you want goes out of stock, please email us and we’d be more than happy to help.
Can I return a record?
For returns, please email email@example.com for authorisation.
How do I place an order?
Add your chosen record(s) to the basket. You can view your basket via the basket icon in the top right corner of the navigation and proceed through the checkout process following the step-by-step instructions.
Can I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order for any reason, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 1 hour of placing your order, and we can cancel it and provide a refund. If your order has already been shipped, you will need to wait to receive it and then organise a return.
Will you order a record for me if it’s not in the store or on pre-order?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to order specific titles for individuals. However, we may be able to help you source a specific record, so please feel free to get in contact anyway as we’d like to help any way we can.
Can I get free shipping?
For UK orders over £75, the postage charge will be either free or reduced depending on the formats purchased.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship to most countries. Enter your country at checkout and the postage costs will be calculated and shown on the page.
Do I need to pay for pre-ordered titles?
Payment is taken at the time of pre-ordering.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment through PayPal, PayPal Pay Later, Visa Debit and Credit Card.
How much does UK shipping cost?
We offer a variety of shipping options, costing from £3.70 for Royal Mail Tracked 48 or £3.99 for a 12” sent via 1st class post. 7” orders are from £1.99. We also provide a courier service if a faster delivery is required. You can choose from the available options in the checkout before completing your order.
Do you sell secondhand records?
No, we only sell new condition vinyl that’s arrived directly from our suppliers. However, we do have a small selection of used vinyl in our Discogs store.
Can I send my wants list?
Yes, please send to email@example.com and we will track down as many of your wants as possible.
What types of music do you carry?
We stock disco, funk, jazz, jazz funk, soul, classic house and techno. You can find our vinyl categories listed in the main website navigation.
Do you have a physical storefront?
No, we are solely based online.
How can I contact 45prm?
Do you have a loyalty or rewards program?
We don’t currently have a loyalty or rewards programme in place.
