Expansion Records is an independent record label based in the United Kingdom that specialises in soul, funk, jazz, and R&B music. Founded in the 1984 by Northern Soul DJ, Richard Searling and Soul Bowl owner ,John Anderson. In 1989, DJ Author & Journalist Ralph Tee joined the label, both he and Searling run Expansion Records. the label has become known for its high-quality releases of soul, funk, jazz and R&B genres. Expect essential re-issues of the finest moments in soul and funk music from the last 40 years.
