The Originals -No! (No, No, No, No) [feat. Africa Unite & The Bluebeaters] (Caribb Roots) 7″

The Originals is a unique project, bringing together two legendary Italian bands, Africa Unite for reggae and The Bluebeaters for ska/rocksteady. With ten members on stage, they began a tour in early 2025 and released their first single at the end of the same year.

Initially, the idea was to share the stage, creating a sort of “Best of” the two bands playing together:

five musicians on one side and five on the other performed their greatest hits for a series of concerts throughout Italy.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of 2026, the two bands decided to stop due to the excessive commitments of the individual bands, hoping to be able to get back together in the future. To seal this intense year, Caribb Roots will release a live LP by the end of the year to document this wonderful adventure.

In the meantime, the single “No! (No, No, No, No)” has been released. The title is a decisive rejection of the direction the world is taking, referring to the dramatic geopolitical situation in which we all find ourselves.
