Juice On Wax is back with another irresistible slice of wax, from Berlin-based edit specialist Voodoocuts. He brings his signature jazzy touch to two classic tracks, starting with ‘That Cool Loop’, which is a version of Us3’s ‘Cantaloop’ that has the Latin vibes turned up to 11 with hip-swinging and samba rhythms infused with hip-hop bars and sunny horns. Then comes a reworked take on a House of Pain classic with neat piano chords and organic percussion all oiling the steamy groove with plenty of jazzy energy while the original vocals burst out in brilliant contrast. Two playful and stylish sounds for dance floor fun.
